Ep. 45 | What It Means To Be A Person After God's Own Heart
Published March 23, 2021 by Tom Hermann
What does it mean to be a person after God's own heart? This is a common phrase that get's tossed around in Christian circles, and as believers we strive toward that Goal ... but do we even know what it means?
In today's episode, I want to share with you how God defines what it means to be a person after his own heart, and look at examples of when people operate in that identity and when they do not. This is an important topic because it is necessary if you want to succeed in your life purpose. God created you for a specific purpose and has a specific assignment for you. He's also provided a right way to live that will maximize your assignment and impact. This way of living requires faith that God says what he means and means what he says.
This episode is for you if you are wanting to be in alignment with God's purpose of life.
Saul was replaced as king because he failed to operate as a man after God's own heart
David was considered a man after God's own heart because he would do everything God wanted him to do
Righteousness is just a word that means "right way of living"
God always provides but when we're not following his ways we may completely miss the provision.
